A lot of rain this Labor Day weekend. I had to be patient not to over water. A simple mistake that can cause a plant to get a disease. Waiting a couple of days after the rain is a good practice. Some growers will cover up the pots to have more control of the moisture in the soil but requires some time and work. I prefer to utilize nature’s free water with less work. But unless rain becomes an everyday thing then I would cover them like a greenhouse.
