Smudge ceremony

Sunday Father’s Day was a good day to work out by moving soil into the big 64-gallon smart pots. Couple of days ago I purchased soil from the local landscaping company. They called it the “420 soil mix” and I used it. A good price for the quality you receive. After this season I will recycle the soil and improve it with worm castings.

Before the transplant I had a smudge ceremony done to ward off bad spirits and bad vibes. I believe in rituals help, to start the day, a project, or to get into a flow. Just like our ancestors have done so in the past generations. One day I can explain myself in another post.

I did notice all four plants went into full bloom already. A bit earlier than anticipated. I will try to reverse course to vegging by topping off the ends of the shoots. Hopefully this will buy some time for the cannabis to grow into those big pots. If it fails, I can get some clones to start a fresh batch. I will wait a few days before topping them.
