Four different strains cultivated in 2018. SFV OG, GorillaGlue#4, Purple Lemon Haze, Purple Gorilla.
2018 marks the year Californians can legally cultivate their own cannabis plant at home. For some, it means no more hiding in the shadows or be embarrassed cultivating cannabis.
Four strains. One Cultivator.
SFV OG
The San Fernando Valley OG a.k.a. SFV OG; a sativa-dominant hybrid. I bought this clone from a nearby dispensary. The plant grows tall with finger like fan leaves, showing its Sativa dominance. This is my first time working with this strain and so far its been an easy out door grow.
Second year cultivating this strain. It is a purple phenotype of Super Lemon Haze. The sativa-dominant hybrid that clearly shows from the start with its lengthy stem shoots and thin fan leaves. Last year, the purple hues didnβt show until close to harvest time when the buds are becoming solid and the cold nights arrived.
New to my cultivation garden, Purple Gorilla, is a indica-dominant hybrid. She is difficult to cultivate as any Gorilla Glue strain out there. It is a delicate strain that needs a lot of gentle caring and grooming. My patience and attention to detail are been challenged, as I already started on a bad transplant job.
Indica-dominant, potent, and caked with trichomes, GG#4 is back for a second year. Cultivating this difficult strain last year was a successful yielder but this season I already botched the transplant with a rootbound clone.
